A long awaited gift for a friends grandson..........

Although I had finished this several weeks ago I had not posted up the picture! I had coordinated a baby blue version of the boat cushion for Nathaniel who was born in March? I had kept putting it to one side while setting up my hut so took a lot longer to complete than usual, I am hoping it is a gift worth the wait!..............

Baby Leo.........

A request from my friend Marie for a cushion as a keepsake for a little boy recently born......"Leo Philip", a new nephew. Marie had liked the navy nautical fabric so have made another version with my own design boat complete with buttons and a small Union Jack flag flying..........

Whitstable keepsake........

As the beach hut cushion went last weekend I have made a small nautical boat version in smart navy with a spot of red!..........

Wedding Butterfly..............

Pinkie/Lilac with butterflies was the request for this cushion for Diane's son and daughter-in-law to be, who are getting married tomorrow in Canterbury. I picked out the 2 toning patterns of flowers to make the butterfly then added the small spotty mauve and found this lovely cream with pink flowers for the border. The embroidery was also done in pink, as all girls love Pink!............I hope they have a lovely day and this will be a keepsake to remember it by...

The Bride and Groom........

My old school friends youngest daughter is getting married in November and wanted bunting and chair backs with Mr and Mrs on, also a cushion to be carried by her young nephew for the rings. I found some dark blue fabric that tones in with the bridesmaids dresses and did the lettering in a fine silver lame fabric for the chair backs, the bunting has been kept plain, this is to go along the top table, and the cushion is a simple plain satin with an applique heart pocket edged with glass beads and ribbon attached to enable the rings to be secured. I have piped the cushion in the same fabric as the bunting etc., to tie in all the pieces.

Surprise Wedding.......

My sister requested the "Love" design for two friends that went off and got married quietly. she wanted the fabric to be vintage and pink and greens. Hopefully it will be a nice keepsake for their special day...

Special 21st Birthday gift........

The request for a pink cushion with hearts and flowers was the order for a special 21st birthday gift, I fussy cut the pretty flower fabric into the hearts and added a button to the centre one. The name to personalise the gift to finish off..........

Madeleine.........for Christmas

The butterfly fabric was chosen as the main part of the cushion and my little bird design for the motif, which includes her name. Very pretty and pink, just what little, and big girls like!........

Bunnies for a little girls first Christmas.......

A request for the three little bunnies for a little girls first Christmas, to be given as a gift from her auntie and uncle, a special keepsake message on the back for everlasting memories...........

Just finished in time to go down to my hut with me for the weekend, two cushions with the Whitstable theme.......a smart nautical beach hut, which is always popular and a soft cream with subtle shell pattern "I heart Whitstable". weather is looking not too bad for the weekend so let's hope people are out and about.
